Is Margana finally becoming canon on this week’s Hannibal?
It looks like we might see the much-anticipated love scene between Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas) and Margot Verger (Katharine Isabelle) this Thursday on Hannibal.
According to the official synopsis for “Dolce,” Alana and Margot will team up against Mason (Joe Anderson) — and we’re guessing they’ll get together romantically during one of their powwows.
Showrunner Bryan Fuller spoke about the scene in question during a phone conference in the spring, at which point he revealed that Margot and Alana would share a scene described as “erotic and sensual and completely unusual for network TV shows,” which “tells a story that people usually refuse to tell.”
Assuming she doesn’t go on a murder spree following their tryst, Margot is certainly a step up from Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen). Unfortunately, we have the feeling that their romance won’t be a longterm thing.
The synopsis for “Dolce” reads:
Sensing their time in Florence is coming to an end, Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) and Hannibal consider their parting as Hannibal plans for his final stand. Meanwhile, Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and Jack Crawford (Jack Crawford) reunite, but Jack remains uncertain about Will’s true loyalty.
Back in the States, Mason Verger hungrily makes plans for Hannibal’s capture, while Alana Bloom and Margot Verger makes plans of their own for Mason.
Tune into the remaining episodes of Hannibal Season 3 Thursdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
